regular Town Hall meetings throughout his term of office.

Pledges a reply to every correspondence and to return every phone call he receives.

Supports moving public participation back to the start, and including
public participation at the end, of City Council meetings.

Supports having vigorous public debate prior to enacting legislation on important city issues.

It is the responsibility of each City Council member to read and understand every item brought before them for action.
Public safety, traffic and infrastructure not keeping up with development are the 3 biggest challenges facing Santa
Clarita. Careful city planning is the only way to impact problems associated with these issues.
Building height and development density should not exceed the current City Of Santa Clarita zoning and Master Plan.
Eminent Domain should only be used as a last resort, when it is shown to be in the public’s interest and determined that all other alternate solutions are unrealistic.
When City Government makes a faulty decision causing neighborhoods to suffer (i.e. Benz Road and Canvas Cut-Through
Traffic, back-in parking in Newhall, or restriping Decoro) it is the city’s responsibility to resolve the problem. Since these are public issues, the City should pay the cost of mitigation.
